Overview
Exposed, rooftop car park decks and ramps directly above occupied spaces are essentially highly trafficked roofs and it is therefore vital that they are fully waterproofed to protect the structure and contents below. For new build and other structures, particularly those with significant levels of structural movement and cracking the priority may be more to protect the structure from the damaging ingress of chlorides and other environmental influences. Whatever the requirement, if left untreated or with insufficient protection, water ingress and other corrosive elements can result in damage to the building fabric and contents.

Dynamic crack bridging, fully reinforced, cold applied system
Triflex are the car park waterproofing and surfacing experts. Featuring unique resins with enhanced elastomeric properties in combination with high tensile strength reinforcement, we deliver a totally waterproof solution designed specifically to accommodate the movement and cracking within parking structures. There is no risk from hot works during application as all of our materials are installed in a completely cold applied form, quickly curing to create a solution that lasts.
Tough and durable protection
The demands of even the highest trafficked, highest space change rate car parks are no issue for the highly traffic, impact and load resistant wearing layer and durable surface finish used in the Triflex ProPark system. The system is unaffected by ponding water and is resistant to chlorides (road salts), carbon dioxide ingress, petrol, diesel, brake fluid, engine oil, battery acid, and de-icing and cleaning products. Protection that's built to last, with a low lifecycle cost.

Rapid curing
Exceptionally fast curing, Triflex enables car parks to remain open during installation, limiting access restrictions and unnecessary disruptions. Installation can be carried out all year round and the system still cures quickly at temperatures down to 0°C. Ramps and critical areas can be completed overnight and opened the next morning.
Anti-skid
The system offers high levels of long-term skid resistance in wet and dry conditions, providing a secure and safe solution for both vehicles and pedestrians.
Safety and environmental
Our solvent and isocyanate free resin technology has been assessed under BREEAM principles and can contribute to A+ ratings. To minimise environmental impact the majority of the resin components are also supplied in recyclable bulk containers. The system is compatible with virtually all substrates allowing the existing failed or failing membrane (including asphalt) to be directly overlaid instead of being removed, significantly reducing waste, time, cost and impacts on landfill.
