Triflex Quartz Design is a surface finish available for Triflex ProTerra featuring a high quality, tough and durable anti-skid finish available in 2 options; large grain quartz and small grain quartz.
System build-up large grain quartz
Triflex ProTerra Quartz Design is available with a large grain quartz, either 0.7 – 1.2mm or 0.4 – 1.2mm. This provides a heavy duty, robust surface finish particularly suitable for local authority, public, social housing applications and highly used / accessed areas. The larger quartz gives exceptional impact and abrasion resistant characteristics and a high level of anti-skid.

Anti-skid
Tests carried out wet on new indicative samples in accordance with UKSRG Guidelines (2016). Based on UKSRG guidance a surface with a PTV of 36+ is classified as having a low slip potential.
With 0.7 - 1.2mm quartz:
- PTV approx. 75 (Four S rubber / Slider 96)
- PTV approx. 68 (TRRL rubber / Slider 55)
With 0.4 - 1.2mm quartz:
- PTV approx. 73 (Four S rubber / Slider 96)
- PTV approx. 70 (TRRL rubber / Slider 55)

Triflex ProTerra Quartz Design is available with a small grain quartz, either 0.4 – 0.8mm or 0.3 – 0.6mm. This provides a finish option which is more suitable to domestic applications. The smaller quartz gives an anti-skid surface that is easily cleaned and maintained.
