Forster Park Primary School

Forster Park Primary School undertook extensive building and refurbishment works to the school’s 500m² lower roof which was originally overlaid in an SBS felt. This project required the waterproofing and protection of a 1,200m² flat roof including all detailed areas at John F. Kennedy School in Beckton, East London. The current roof had previously been waterproofed using a traditional felt waterproofing system, which had begun to develop blisters.

The 2500m² flat room of this hotel consited of asphalt and a bituminous membrane. The substrate was now allowing water to ingress into below rooms causing serious damage, in some areas the ingress had become so severe that rooms had to be completely closed off to guests.
